The Systems Engineering and Technical Support Services contract includes: systems
engineering, systems/subsystems integration, avionics/software/air vehicle
technology insertion, survivability engineering, Earned Value Management (EVM),
Configuration Management, reliability and maintainability engineering,
environmental engineering, program performance assessment analysis/planning,
technology transfer, and IR/IED document support.
L-3 also provides engineering
support for the following programs: Night Vision Devices/Systems, Software
Development and Software Support Activity (SSA), Cockpit Conversions
Technology/Integral Lighting and Exterior Lighting, Allocated Baseline
Identification Database, Naval Aviation Planning, Reconnaissance and
Surveillance System/Sensors, E&RA, and TACAIR Systems Development Facility.
These efforts are in support of the Systems Engineering Competency (4.1),
NAWCAD, and NAVAIR PMA activities.
